Qantas and Australia Post renew JV partnerships
Qantas and Australia Post renew JV partnerships Qantas and Australia Post have renewed their partnership in the Australian air Express and Star Track Express joint ventures, and have also signed a new five-year mail contract with a combined value of $100 million per year. Australian air Express is a domestic express air freight service company, while Star Track Express is a premier road express transport and logistics solutions provider. According to Qantas CEO Alan Joyce, an extensive review of Australian air Express and Star Track Express revealed that both continue to be viable and profitable operations, and a two-month process has now begun to complete a strategy to improve the value of these JVs and assess options for future growth.
