New truck technology at Lang Worldwide Moving
Swap body truck for special transportations opens access to a more flexible service for customers of Lang forwarding company
An interesting new unit was added to the fleet of the Lang Worldwide Moving company, which has so far been dominated by vehicles with box superstructures. Specialising on national and international moves, the forwarding company based in Vienna-Donaustadt has just started operating a swap body truck. According to the company the vehicle guarantees 100 per cent flexibility, thanks to its ability of directly loading container consignments from rail to road. "With this truck sea containers can be transported directly from the port to the recipient. There are no long, expensive waits. Moreover the risk of damage is reduced“, managing director Karin Lang informs in a press release. Lang Worldwide Moving counts among the most traditional providers of move logistics services in Austria. With more than 50 employees the family company, which was established in 1912, is active in the fields of local and international relocations, office moves, private moves, heavy haulage, special transport, music transportations, packaging, storage and fair service.
