New Managing Director for Eurodis

Carsten Siebe succeeds Mark Hackländer as Managing Director

The shareholders’ meeting of Eurodis, trans-oflex’s European distribution network, appointed Carsten Siebe (36) the company’s new Managing Director. Already since summer 2008, he has been holding the position of International Sales Manager at Eurodis. Following his training as forwarding merchant and his study of Business Administration at Deutsche Außenhandels- und Verkehrsakademie (German Academy of Foreign Trade and Transport) in Bremen, Siebe gained in-depth experience in management positions at various courier, express and package service providers, where he was responsible for the support and implementation of large key account projects. As new Managing Director, Carsten Siebe, who is married and has a six-year old daughter, succeeds Marc Hackländer.
Siebe’s main task will be the consequent further development of the Eurodis network with consistent performance and EDP standards. In order to even optimise the network, it is now possible for international partners to acquire a shareholding in Eurodis GmbH and participate in the development of the network. The Spanish Eurodis partner Redur S.A. has already acquired a 20-% stake in Eurodis GmbH. Other will follow. Currently, trans-o-flex and Österreichische Post AG hold 40 % of the shares each.
