Kuehne + Nagel expands in Catalonia Kuehne + Nagel has opened a new facility in the Barcelona logistics area "ZAL", to serve as transhipment platform for the Group’s growing activities in the field of international transport and as multi-user warehouse for its contract logistics customers. Featuring 54 loading and unloading bays, video surveillance and RF systems, the 16,000 m2 logistics complies with the latest safety regulations and environmental requirements, including a designated area for the handling of hazardous goods. The Port of Barcelona logistics area "ZAL" provides excellent intermodal connections, with direct access to the port facilities and to the airport through a fast lane.
