International business drives Groupe Heppner

French transport logistics specialist Groupe Heppner posted a strong increase for the fiscal year 2010

For the Groupe Heppner the 2010 fiscal year was earmarked by the consolidation of the position in their core business and new major contracts. The traditional provider of transport and logistics services with its headquarters in France achieved a turnover at EUR 523 million in the reporting period. This means 9.7 per cent growth compared to 2009.

As the management board announces, all the business units of the private group (overland, air and maritime transport, logistics) contributed to this growth that was particularly bolstered by demand for international transport services, which accounted for 38 per cent of the group’s total turnover last year.

Groupe Heppner employs around 3,100 persons at 100 locations in France. They offer 180 000 m² of logistics warehousing space. Together with partners they handled about 1 million consignments in European overland traffic in 2010.
