FX Logistik and Alpentrans to act as Alpentrans Spedition und Transport GmbH with locations in Salzburg and Vienna effective 1 October 2012
 
A fusion is taking place within the corporate group Wildenhofer (Salzburg) these days. The 100%-subsidiaries FX Logistik and Alpentrans will act as Alpentrans Spedition und Transport GmbH in the market, effective 1 October 2012. This is a new, strong and one of its kind business unit, as the management announces. Advantages of the fusion for customers are the wider range of once-source logistics services, synergies in disposition and administration, efficiency increases and the unique market appearance. Basically the project supports the vision of being a force for innovations of forwarding in the future.
 
Owned by the house of Wildenhofer since 1978, Alpentrans Spedition und Transport GmbH in its new form has 29 employees at two locations (Salzburg, Vienna) and expects turnover at EUR 26 million in 2012. The range of services covers groupage, part and full load transport with a focus on Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
