DHL Express (Austria) launches ultra rapid passport service
Delivery of Austrian passports within 24 hours with DHL Express servic As of now DHL Express offers in cooperation with the Austrian Bezirkshauptmannschaften (district administrative authorities) and municipal authorities a so-called one-day-express-passport. After the application for the passport, the Austrian State Printers produce the documents over night, and transfer them to DHL Express. The division of the Deutsche Post DHL Group delivers the travel documents within 24 hours throughout Austria. In the year 2010 1.2 million passports will loose their validity in Austria, which points out the demand for the new service compared to the usual application for the document. “We are happy to offer our customers a real added value with this service in cooperation with the district authorities and the Austrian State Printers,“ Patrick Krückeberg, Same Day Manager DHL Express Austria, commented on the new service. |
