Contractor appointed for spec shed in South Yorkshire
Trebor Developments and partner Hillwood have appointed Readie Construction as main contractor for their Gateway 4 scheme at Junction 4 of the M18 motorway in Doncaster.
A contractor has been appointed to develop the new 409,000 sq ft speculative distribution centre and work is due to start in February with completion scheduled for September 2020.
The Gateway 4 unit will feature 38 loading doors, up to 55m yards and parking facilities for up to 83 HGVs.
Bob Tattrie, managing partner at Trebor, said: “This is the largest, single, speculative building we are delivering from our current three million sq ft programme across the UK. We expect strong interest given the quality of location and building, with availability in Quarter 3 2020.”
