CEVA expands Freight Management agreement with Tech Data

CEVA Logistics has announced the renewal of its contract with Tech Data Corporation, one of the world’s largest wholesale distributors of technology products. CEVA, which has worked with Tech Data for more than 15 years, has now expanded its relationship to become the wholesale technology distributor’s primary Less than Truck Load (LTL) carrier in the US.

Under the terms of the agreement, CEVA will provide LTL services for all of Tech Data’s US retail distribution of devices such as computers, peripherals, laptops, servers, televisions, tablets and MP3 players. CEVA will also offer onsite operational support at Tech Data’s largest logistics centres.

"Tech Data has been one of CEVA’s best partners over the last 15 years and we are proud to have earned the opportunity to expand our relationship," said Mark Carlson, Senior Vice President, Freight Management, East Region, CEVA. "Our dedicated customer service control tower in Atlanta has played a key role in serving Tech Data’s logistics needs. By communicating on a daily basis with Tech Data’s logistics group and CEVA’s Freight Management stations nationwide, we have been able to ensure the overall efficiency of shipments across the country and quickly respond to any issues that arise."
