Blue Water Group expands overseas
Danish transport logistics group Blue Water Shipping has well done in 2009 In spite of difficult conditions the Blue Water Group posted a respectable result for 2009. Thanks to targeted measures in their cost management the Danish transport logistics group achieved a clearly positive operating result with EUR 2.7 million. According to a press release the 820 employees working in 49 offices in 26 countries achieved a turnover of EUR 349 million. In the current year the Management expects a clear uptrend of their business. This shall also be supported by the new location in Shanghai and the shortly starting office in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). At the company’s headquarters in Esbjerg construction works for the new headquarters building have been started recently.
