AAE Group: CEO Karsten Sachsenröder disembarks

Karsten Sachsenröder leaves the „command center“ of the AAE group; Mark Stevenson will head the management board in the future

The AAE group, leading lessor of standard freight wagons in Europe, and their CEO Karsten Sachsenröder decided to go their separate ways. After two years of successful collaboration, the board of directors and the CEO have decided due to differing views on future business, to end cooperation by mutual agreement. The management of AAE will be headed by Mark Stevenson in the future, the CFO remains the same. Andreas Goer, chairman and owner of the AAE, will be a delegate of the board.

The AAE group with about 30,000 freight cars is one of the largest lessors of railway freight wagons in Europe and market leader in freight cars in the high-growth segment of the combined road-rail-water transport. The aim of the company founded in 1989 is to increase the efficiency and performance of environmentally friendly rail transport with recourse to the industry expertise of AAE as well as through innovative products and services continuously.
