Broekman Group changed its name to Broekman Logistics

Broekman Logistics wishes to emphasise its focus on supply chain management; the company has a new corporate style and website

Over the past few years, Broekman Logistics has succeeded in consolidating its position through specialisation and internationalisation. The Rotterdam headquartered company has evolved from a shipbroker to supply chain manager.

Broekman Logistics aims to grow further, both in the countries in which it already operates and beyond. Acquisitions and investments have led to a new company structure with three clear business units: Forwarding & Shipping, Warehousing & Distribution and Breakbulk Terminals. There will also be an even greater focus on three niche markets: logistics for the energy and offshore industry, for packed chemical products and for the truckmotive industry.

“Now that the company has been restructured, we wanted to express this visually,” Raymond Riemen, CEO of Broekman Logistics, explains. ‘The blue logo, with its stylised B and M letters, score 90 percent brand recognition, and we are retaining that. We have, however, decided to add ‘Logistics’ to the logo.

The new name and corporate style are complemented by a new website, www.broekmanlogistics.com. The website contains news on the latest trends in the logistics market, available in Dutch, English and Chinese.

Broekman Logistics was established over 50 years ago at the Port of Rotterdam, and has since grown to become a full-service logistics services company employing about 800 people and with offices in the Netherlands, China, India, Singapore, Belgium, Poland and the Czech Republic. Broekman specialises in forwarding and shipping, warehousing and distribution and breakbulk terminals. Broekman’s services are characterised by a global reach with a personal touch.
