Eleventh Boeing 747 freighter joins AirBridgeCargo Airlines

AirBridgeCargo Airlines puts another B747F into operation to create a basis for continued growth

 

The Russian AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) put into operation its eleventh freight-only machine of the Boeing 747 type just before Christmas. The newest member of the fleet is a B747-400F providing 120 tons air freight capacity. The machine serves as a basis to continue the strong growth of the year 2010. In the period from January to November 2010 the volume ABC has forwarded in a regular schedule on the routes from and to Frankfurt has soared up to 103,000 tons (2009: 70,000 tons).

AirBridgeCargo Airlines represents the competence centre for scheduled air freight traffic within the worldwide network of the Volga-Dnepr Group. The route network of the company links the hub Moscow as well as the Russian airports Krasnoyarsk and Yekaterinburg with the economic centres of Europe and Asia on a regular basis. Besides other destinations they are regularly serving Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Milan, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul, and Zhengzhou.
